About Once Upon A Cardstock
Once upon a Cardstock is a small business based out of North Muskegon that specializes in three dimensional shadowboxes, interchangeable windows, and handcrafted cards for all occasions. Each piece is uniquely designed, carefully cut, and assembled by hand. Michelle also enjoys creating custom designs, “Customers have some of the best ideas!”
Michelle started this craft by making greeting cards for her friends and family. They loved the cards so much that they convinced her to start selling them. Through experimenting with cards, she grew a love for layering, so she started experimenting with three dimensional shadowboxes.
Michelle works full time at Orthopedic Associates of Muskegon as a Durable Medical Equipment Specialist. She has 2 beautiful daughters named Aveah (age 4) and Liana (age 1.5). In her free time she enjoys watching movies, going on boat rides, and of course anything related to arts and crafts. Michelle loves working with Cardstock, “It’s so versatile! You can cut it, emboss it, deboss it, layer it, crimp it, fold it…. and the list goes on. “It’s a way for me to collect my thoughts, review my day, and work through any problems" Michelle says.
